Event Active Citizens for Positive Change happened on monday 28th of November 2022 in the atrium of ZRC SAZU. The event was organized by two projects supported by Active Citizens Found Slovenia – Migrants giving voice to migrants implemented by Radio Študent and Slovenian philanthropy and project BODE implemented by Humanitarian organization ADRA Slovenia and Društvo za medkulturni dialog.
The event started with a presentation of both projects and it continued with a round table on which guests talked about the importance of media that gives migrants the space to talk about their experiences. The round table was moderated by chief editor of Radio Študent Gal Krizmanič. He talked with Furkan Guner editor and presenter of radio show Enolončnica, Oleg Rogoz pharmacist from Ukraine, Aigul Hakimova activist from Kyrgyzstan and Kelvis Skembi Albanian A.I. expert. They all live and work in Slovenia.
The round table was followed by musical performances and refreshments with drinks and food prepared by members of Društvo za medkulturni dialog.
