The intercultural trip in the organization of Intercultural dialog in collaboration with Radio Študent and Slovenian Philanthropy as part of their project Migrant giving voice to migrants, happened on the Slovenian Day of culture on 8th of February. This is the day when we remember one of the best known Slovenian poets, France Prešeren. The trip started with the take off from Ljubljana and continued with the first stop at a rest area near Kranj, where attendees of the trip could enjoy a practical Turkish breakfast. The trip than led to the house of Matija Čop, one of the best friends of France Prešeren, than to the Žirovnica elementary school, Anton Janša’s apiary, Plečnik’s monument, house of another slovenian writer France FInžgar, the church of St. Mark in Vrba and the historical lime tree standing there and last but not the least to the house of France Prešeren. The event was attended by 15 people who walked the 11 km long route in three and and a half hours.
